What does the national emergency declaration mean for immigrants?

This week President Trump declared a national emergency to redirect federal funds for building a wall along portions of the southern border. We've been getting questions about this might affect our clients' cases. Our answer? Eh, it probably won't. From what we know now, there aren't plans for the funds to come from any parts of DHS that process cases.
